Louis Maxfield drama teacher at Rex Putnam in the 1960's and 70's. A great teacher. This is backstage before our Fall Musical which in 1970 was 'Hello Dolly', done the same year of the awful movie version that I think won an academy award .

I just happened upon this photo while doing some web searches on Rex Putnam. I am the current Principal and have started a school-wide project to record the history of the school. I was very excited to see your great photo and am hoping that you might be willing to share your work with our students and being part of our project.

I look forward to seeing more of your work. Please contact me at quintanillac@nclack.k12.or.us.

Thanks for sharing your art.

Maxfield was a great teacher! His classes were my first introduction to the magic (and the work!) of theatre - a life-long passion that I am blessed to dabble in whenever possible.

I'm Brenda Maxfield. Louis Maxfield is my father.

That's a great picture. Thanks for sharing.

Thank you Brenda. Your father was one of my favorite teachers. I hope he is doing well.

Mr. Maxfield was a great teacher who taught me a lot. He was wonderful.

I'm glad to see his picture here, and remember him fondly.
