Another pair of Bushtits have built
a nest outside our window again.They build the nests so secretly it
just seemed to suddenly appear right in
plain sight. It seems to have some
kind of a web foundation that holds
it all together which if you read the
wikipedia entry is constructed of
spider silk. Clever little tits.
I really wish I could have watched them build it.

This is really amazing work when one looks closely. What are the little buggers doing now?
I was hoping to not have to say this but the nest was destroyed over the weekend by some feral vermin. I can say though that the parents survived.
