Two more botanical photos I don't believe I have every posted here because at the time I didn't like them. The top one is the flower of one of the North American Pitcher plants, Sarracenia, the bottom one is an Asian species of Dogwood, maybe Kousa. These are scans from the prints. I took these back in 03' before I was having CD scans of my color negative film.

I have been going over photographs I never posted here before because at the time I made them I didn't think they were all that good. Here is one from a roll of film I shot around the Kamm House back in 75'. This is the remains of an old trolley barn. Not sure if the column at the left of the picture was part of the structure or something being stored there. The shape at the center of the picture formed by the column and the arch reminds me of a harp. At the time I don't recall finding it all that interesting but now I wish I had taken more photographs. The bottom picture is a bulb plant I grew and photographed in several different formats a few years ago. Can't remember now what it is called.

I am taking an extra long weekend so I can begin this project we have been putting off since we moved to this house almost 20 years ago remove several layers of wall paper that were painted over. I worked pretty much all day yesterday and managed to strip only one wall and clean most of the old adhesive off. The plaster is in pretty good shape under the wall. Should make a good surface to paint on after I clean off all the old adhesive.
I haven't been able to take time to work in the darkroom for quite awhile. I am glad that I got out that one weekend to take pictures in Lone Fir when the autumn colors were at their best. I had planned to work this weekend on putting together a cd for submitting some photographs to a juried show but I may not get it done in time. I had some work rejected last month for another juried show which kind of curbed my enthusiasm for the process.
